Core principle

Published data must be tied to an identifiable source and verification date. An absence in the source becomes “not published,” never an assumption.

Collection

On August 18, 2026, the importer reviewed the public SAAQ service-outlet directory, identified profiles typed as road-vehicle inspection agents, then separately verified 188 detail pages.

Automated checks

  • Stop if fewer than 25 profiles are detected.
  • Deduplication by official identifier.
  • Retention of a provenance link for every field group.
  • Generation of an additions and removals diff.
  • Review before redeployment; no automatic public correction.

Limitations

The SAAQ directory does not always publish hours, pricing, languages, business website or availability. VérifRoute does not fill those fields from unverified commercial directories.
